I am writing my first blog, a totally new learning experience. I know that this first blog is very simple and I have much to learn; but, I am not going to stop until I master this process. I want to do a weekly blog on arts and craft projects that you can make by hand at home. I was a teacher for over 10 years and had to be very creative to keep the classroom bulletin boards decorated each month with a monthly theme. I plan to do the same using this blog. As soon as I get the hang of this blog thing, I will post pictures and steps for each weekly project. For this week, I am going to be learning everything I can to make this possible.
For January projects I will show you how to make beautiful decorated snowmen using paper mache to hang on a year round tree. Other projects for January will include paper mache masks, gift bags, and a simple bracelet and earrings. The projects will be very diverse and most of the materials you will have on hand or can purchase from local stores.
I hope you enjoy this process as much I think I am going to enjoy it.
